Semi-finished products such as panels, rods, and profiles are often packaged as stacks or bundles. The key factor here is that the film fits securely, prevents shifting during transport, and does not damage the surface. Demanding plastics engineering therefore requires precisely tailored packaging solutions.

Injection-molded parts come off the line in large quantities and must be packaged without delay. Here, cycle rate and process reliability are decisive.  
 

Film banderoles are suitable for stacks of panels and bundles of profiles: the plastic products are wrapped crosswise, and the ends can be left open on the sides, though this is not required. This saves film and allows for quick removal. Side sealing machines also reliably process large-format and elongated goods — a clear advantage for profiles and pipes of varying lengths.

Individual plastic parts or smaller units can be packaged fully enclosed via full film wrap, or alternatively as a banderole. Side sealing machines handle this precisely and with format flexibility. The shrink tunnel then ensures form-fitted, tightly fitting plastic packaging — important for stackable units that need to remain stable in high-bay warehouses or over long transport distances.
