Sleeve wrappers fully automatically banderole products with a laterally open film pack — as transport and protective packaging for individual and stacked products. Compared to full film wrap, banderoling produces no film waste. This saves film material.
If the products still need to be fully enclosed on all sides, the film overhang can be completely closed, for example, using a Kallfass shrink tunnel with HV technology.
Kallfass offers both intermittent-motion and continuous-motion banderoling machines. The intermittent-motion systems are available in a pneumatic version with up to 28 cycles per minute and an electromechanical version with up to 40 cycles per minute. The continuous-motion banderoling machines operate electromechanically and package at up to 50 cycles per minute.
Both principles — intermittent-motion and continuous-motion systems — reliably process products of randomly varying dimensions and can be integrated into existing lines via standardized interfaces.

Intermittent-motion bundling machines
With intermittent-motion machines, product transport is briefly interrupted for the sealing process. This packaging principle covers a wide format range — from compact individual products to large-format, heavy-duty applications — and is a very robust solution for demanding industrial environments.
Pneumatic series: Super Wrap de Luxe
The Super Wrap 650, 950, 1300, and 1600 de Luxe versions cover a very wide format range. All versions are designed as an in-line variant. The Super Wrap 650 and 950 versions are also available with angled infeed (WB).
Electromechanical series: Super Wrap EM
The Super Wrap 1600 EM and Super Wrap 2300 EM are designed for large formats and heavy-duty applications, reliably packaging large-format products as well.
The other models, Super Wrap 500 and 800, are also available with angled infeed.
The tight packer series with the Super Wrap 500 SP and 800 SP models is designed for angled infeed.
Continuous-motion bundling machines
The Kallfass Servo series
Continuous-motion machines operate without interruption — product transport and the sealing process run simultaneously, without stop-and-go. This enables significantly higher packaging output than intermittent-motion systems.
Super Wrap Servo
The fully automatic, continuous-motion Super Wrap Servo bundling machine was specially developed for efficient transport and protective packaging.
Multipacks from the food sector, stacks of newspapers and magazines, or other products are packaged reliably without stop-and-go in a continuous product flow at up to 60 cycles per minute. High-speed bundling.

FAQs on sleeve wrappers
What is a film banderole?
A film banderole is a pack in which the sides of the product are not completely covered with film, i.e., they are open at the sides. If required, however, these can also be closed, resulting in transport and protective packaging that is fully enclosed on all sides.
Intermittent-motion or continuous-motion — which fits my application?
Intermittent-motion machines are the first choice for wide format ranges, heavy-duty applications, and robust industrial environments. Continuous-motion machines are recommended for high throughput and a steady product flow.
Super Wrap Servo or Servo Packer?
The Super Wrap Servo is designed for classic banderoling applications in the mid-performance range. The Servo Packer covers the highest throughput requirements.
In-line or angled infeed?
In-line feeds products directly through the machine in the direction of transport. Angled infeed (WB) enables product feeding offset by 90° — relevant in confined spaces or with certain line layouts.
When is the tight packer suitable?
For dimensionally stable products where a tightly fitted pack is required without downstream shrinking.
Which films can be used?
Common shrink films such as polyolefin (PO) and polyethylene (PE) in various thicknesses. PLA and other films can also be processed on Kallfass systems. Kallfass provides product-specific consulting.
