Clothing and home textiles are soft, compressible goods. Folded or stacked, they reach brick-and-mortar retail or the end consumer via shipping through intermediate warehouses and logistics centers. During these processes, they must be protected from dust and moisture ingress — a tightly fitted film pack reliably handles this task without additional cardboard secondary packaging.

Shoe boxes come with a clearly defined, dimensionally stable geometry. They are stacked in warehouses and transport units and must be securely bundled as a stack. At the same time, models, colors, and sizes change with every collection — the packaging machine must accommodate this SKU diversity without extensive retooling. Tailored packaging solutions for different shoe box sizes are required to maintain efficiency on the line. Stacked shoe boxes are bundled using a film banderole. The machine wraps the stack in film, and the shrink tunnel then draws the packaging tightly around it, form-fitted. The result is a stable, clean transport unit that can be easily transported, palletized, and stored in high-bay warehouses.
