From 19 to 21 February it was all about flexible and innovative logistics processes at the Landesmesse Stuttgart. In the middle of it, Kallfass, one of over 1.600 exhibitors. The local wrapping specialist presented his latest development to visitors for E-Commerce.
The pressure on mail order business to manage steadily and rapidly growing volumes is very high. More and more goods arrive at the customers by delivery service. The preferred product groups ordered online are “clothing and shoes” in Europe. ”There is the need for powerful systems to support the logistics personnel in an efficient way”, explained Jens Kallfass. “During the developing phase of the UNITEX we discussed customer wishes and counted them in. Always the topic “performance” was mentioned. With 25 cycles per minute in product mix, the UNITEX belongs to the fastest systems available on the market. We were able to solve this in a perfect way”, continued Jens Kallfass proudly.

With two exhibition stands Kallfass presented itself on over 60 m² in hall 4. The booth concept was devided into the areas “Presentation” and “Communication”. On the slightly larger stand the UNITEX packed in live presentations wares in opaque, colored film, already labelled for shipping. Directly opposite was the other booth on that were served beverages and snacks. In the Lounge-area has been the chance to discuss machine features in detail.

“Our aim - to provide a powerful and flexible tool to the mail order business that provides custom-fit, form stable film bags depending on the area of application – outbound and inbound logistics”, explained Miguel Beltrán, project manager. “We were able to convince our visitors with a stable construction and the accessibility of each single aggregate. The numerous conversations during the show are promising”, added the project manager.
INTERPACK 2020 will be the next international show Kallfass exhibits. The show will take place in Düsseldorf from 7 to 13 May.
