Among more than 1200 products the fully automatic film packaging machine, Kallfass Servo Packer, convinced the jury of the “Industriepreis 2013”. The publishing house “Huber Verlag für neue Medien” and the German initiative “Initiative Mittelstand”, who awards this prize since 2006, awarded the wrapping machine and the concept behind it. In the category “Produktionstechnik und Maschinenbau” Kallfass got the certificate “BEST OF 2013”.
Not only the many varieties of options, like very tight packaging without shrinking and the use of packaging materials made of renewable raw materials (e.g. Poly Lactid Acid), but also the optimization of total lifetime cost to achieve sustained success, convinced the jury.
